Ricky Hatton’s funeral will be held at 12pm on Friday and fans will get the chance to pay their respects as the procession heads towards Manchester Cathedral.
Hatton, widely regarded as one of the icons of British boxing, was found dead at his home in Hyde at the age of 46 on September 14.
The 18-mile memorial route begins at 9:45am at the Cheshire Cheese pub on Stockport Road in Hyde before moving on to the Harehill Tavern in Hattersley.
The procession will then continue to The New Inn on Mottram New Road – a pub that Hatton’s parents used to own – where a dove release will take place.
The cortege will pause at Hatton’s Gym and pass by Hyde Town Hall before moving on to Betta Bodies Gym in Denton, where Hatton trained for his world title fights.
