Netflix has debuted the trailer for the upcoming limited series Death By Lightning !

Michael Shannon and Matthew Macfadyen star in the political series about President James Garfield and the man who killed him, Charles Guiteau .

Here’s a synopsis: Death by Lightning is a drama series that brings to life the epic and stranger-than-fiction true story of James Garfield ( Shannon ), reluctant 20th president of the United States, and his greatest admirer Charles Guiteau ( Macfadyen ) — the man who would come to kill him.

Also starring in the series are Nick Offerman as Chester Arthur, Bradley Whitford as James Blaine, Shea Whigham as Roscoe Conkling and Betty Gilpin as Crete Garfield.
