DMC Global Inc. (Nasdaq: BOOM), a Broomfield-based firm that provides products and services for the energy, construction, industrial-processing and transportation markets, recently added energy-industry executive Sharon Spurlin to its board of directors.

Spurlin is a senior vice president and treasurer at Plains All American Pipeline, a public company engaged in the transportation, storage and marketing of crude oil and natural gas liquids across the United States and Canada, according to a DMC news release. She oversees fixed-income capital market activities, banking and rating-agency relationships, financial planning and analysis and treasury operations.
