ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Albemarle County School Board met for the first time following the comments that board member Allison Spillman made regarding the student-run Turning Point USA chapter inviting a speaker for a talk called "Two Genders, One Truth." Spillman called it hateful and divisive towards transgender students, comparing it to the KKK.

"I received thousands of messages full of assaults, harassment, and statements containing threats against my family," said Spillman.
