The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) recently confirmed that any changes to Personal Independence Payment (PIP) will not be applied until after a "comprehensive review” of the disability benefit has been completed next year. This is expected to be by next Autumn.
DWP has also confirmed eligibility for the mobility part of PIP will be reviewed alongside the daily living element, as part of the UK Government's welfare reforms. Minister for Social Security and Disability Sir Stephen Timms will co-produce the review with disabled groups and charities.
