A man has been stabbed in the centre of Cambridge . A police investigation has been launched and a cordon is in place after the incident on Market Hill before 3.10am on Friday (October 10).
The casualty has been left with serious injuries. One man has been arrested.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 3.10am today with reports of violence – namely a man that had been stabbed on Market Hill, Cambridge after being approached by two other men. Officers arrived on scene two minutes after the initial call and searched the area.
"One man has been arrested so far in connection with the stabbing and enquiries are ongoing. Paramedics attended and the man was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, where he remains.
