Immersive VHS-Inspired Art Gallery Opens Its Doors October 10, Celebrating Halloween Season in Style.

Horror fans are in for a nostalgic treat this Friday as Pluto TV and Paramount+ open the doors to Slashback Video, a free one-day pop-up experience celebrating classic VHS-era scares inside the newly opened Slasher World on Melrose Avenue.

The immersive art installation, open October 10 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., recreates the atmosphere of a vintage video rental shop — complete with rows of faux VHS tapes, eerie lighting, and horror-inspired artwork. Each film displayed on the shelves is also available to stream throughout October on Pluto TV or Paramount+, allowing visitors to relive the thrills at home.
