AMES — All it takes is one. One juke, one opening, or even one hurdle before Iowa State football running back Abu Sama breaks loose for a big gain or a long touchdown run.

There have been some ups and downs throughout his career, but his ability to be a home-run threat whenever he touches the ball has always remained.

Sama is coming off of a season-high rushing performance in the Cyclones ' 38-30 loss to Cincinnati. He had 96 yards on 18 carries, including one play where he executed an eye-popping hurdle over a Cincinnati defender en route to a 17-yard gain.
