Cedar Cliff girls volleyball squeezed out a five-set victory Thursday, beating Red Land 3-2 (25-21, 21-25, 22-25, 25-21, 15-13).
Brinley Howsare had a team-high 11 kills and seven blocks to lead Cedar Cliff. Aubrey Mankoski had a double-double, finishing with 10 kills and 12 digs.
Red Land’s Ava Lyijynen finished with a double-double, including a game-high 16 kills and 12 digs. Annabelle Stonesifer led all players with 19 digs, and Addie Wagenheim added 16.
Jasmine Coble had 11 kills. Sela Brixius finished with 15 digs, and RyLee Ryan had 10.
Cedar Cliff has won two games in a row, improving to 3-14. Red Land dropped to 10-9.
