Asda has just officially began rolling out its Express stores across the UK. The move kicks off a major plan that will see 20 more open their doors before the year ends.
The supermarket kicked off its programme this week with the opening of its Asda Express convenience store in Castleford, West Yorkshire, on October 8, with the smaller format aiming to deliver "unbeatable value" for customers.
Located in a transformed pub building on Holywell Lane, the new modern convenience store is open from 6am to 11pm, offering customers everything from fresh and chilled groceries to a selection of wines , beers and spirits.
