If courts determined manslaughter sentences on how much the victim is missed, Priddis man Ryden Brogden’s killer would be looking at a very long period behind bars.

And if the same measure was used by the judge who sentenced Calgary teen Danillo Canales Glenn’s killer this week the opposite might be true.
