RAWLINS -- Carbon County Treasurer Lindsey West will present "Wyoming Facts Figures with Local Context" on Oct. 23 at the Higher Education Center in Rawlins.

She will be joined by Carbon County Clerk Lisa Smith. The presentation will start at 6 p.m.

The focus will be about recent changes to tax law and what those changes have meant for Carbon County. Data from taxing authorities will be presented to show the impacts to local budgets.

A question and answer session will follow afterwards.

All interested citizens, including elected officials, are welcome.

Meetings were hosted in Saratoga and Rawlins in September to ask for guidance from county Democrats about how the party can serve them. It was decided to have meetings monthly to show residents how they can make a difference.
