The full Harvest Supermoon was in full view on October 6 at the Unisphere in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The Harvest

Moon comes late this year in October because the Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the September equinox. And it’s a supermoon too because the moon is closest to the earth in its elliptical travel around our planet and appears bigger in the sky.

There will be three more consecutive supermoons in the next three months.
