Muon Space has secured a $44.6 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreement from the U.S. Space Force's Space Systems Command System Delta 810 (SYD 810) to develop and demonstrate a dual-use space-based environmental monitoring (SBEM) constellation. The mission will deliver on-orbit prototype capability designed to support both Department of Defense (DoD) Meteorology and Oceanography operations and commercial wildfire monitoring services.
