Poundland is shutting four stores next week with a ‘final clearance’ sale launched. Poundland will close branches in, Rochdale, Leicester and Tenby between October 13 and October 18.

Earlier this week, the discount chain also shut stores in Market Harborough on October 9, and Lowestoft on October 10.

Poundland’s retail director, Darren MacDonald, said: “We know how disappointing it is when we leave a store, but before we close our doors for a final time, we’re determined to say goodbye by offering even more amazing value to customers.
