Coco Gauff has booked her place in another Wuhan Open semifinal, getting past Laura Siegemund in convincing fashion.

Gauff closed out the match with a dominant 6-0 second set, having already broken serve twice on her way to taking the opener 6-3.

The 21-year-old has bounced back well from her recent China Open semifinal defeat to Amanda Anisimova, showing no signs of a hangover from that straight-sets loss.

She’s also already made history at this year’s tournament, and now looks well placed to add another WTA 1000 title to her resume before the season wraps up.

Pam Shriver has been impressed by Gauff’s play recently. Her next opponent will be either Iga Swiatek or Jasmine Paolini, who are due to face off later today.
