India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 hosted the “AI for Good – Impact India” Summit, co-organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

Secretary Telecom Dr. Neeraj Mittal and ITU’s Bilel Jamoussi inaugurated the event, spotlighting AI’s role in building smart, secure, and inclusive networks.

Throughout the two-day summit, global experts, startups, and policymakers explored AI’s impact on healthcare, agriculture, climate resilience, and public services. Dr. Mittal emphasized the shift from generative to agentic AI, which enables self-healing networks and better customer service. He also warned about rising risks like deepfakes and financial fraud as India moves from 5G to 6G.
