CSD Teacher Placed On Leave After Alleged Inappropriate Gesture Toward Students

(Chamberlain, SD) — The Chamberlain School District is placing a teacher on administrative leave following reports of a culturally inappropriate gesture to students. CSD Superintendent Justin Zajic says the teacher will remain on leave pending the outcome of the investigation. Zajic did not specify when exactly the alleged incident occurred or which school the teacher is employed at. He says that “the actions of this individual do not reflect the values or standards of the Chamberlain School District.”
