The Nobel Peace Prize 2025 has been announced, and Donald Trump didn’t win it. What followed, unsurprisingly, were hilarious memes imagining the US President’s reaction.

This year’s prize was awarded to Maria Corina Machado , Venezuela’s main opposition leader, who remains in hiding. Machado, also known as Venezuela's Iron Lady for her work in promoting democratic rights, found her name in Time Magazine's 'The 100 Most Influential People of 2025' list.

Online, however, many users focused on Trump, joking about his long-standing wish to win the Nobel Peace Prize. X was flooded with posts showing Trump looking visibly disappointed, along with captions mocking his reaction to missing the honour.
