Governor Ned Lamont has been subpoenaed in the bribery case against former state official Kosta Diamantis, a spokesman for the governor said.
The spokesperson said Lamont has no involvement in the criminal allegations and the subpoena is currently under review.

Diamantis, a former state deputy budget director, is accused of demanding bribes from construction firms in exchange for state contracts.
Diamantis’ defense attorney, Norm Pattis, said his client intends to testify. That would not happen until next week at the earliest.
