Perthshire Women's Aid calls for support as it marks 50 years of supporting women in the region

Perthshire Women’s Aid have made a plea for continued backing as it marks 50 years helping county women and children suffering domestic abuse. ‌

The charity is launching an anniversary fundraising appeal “Abuse is Everyone’s Business – Stop the Cycle, Now” with a target of £20,000. ‌

Perthshire Women’s Aid (PWA) recently moved into new premises in the heart of Perth to create an accessible, safe, welcoming space where at risk families can access vital support. ‌

PWA is now urging Perthshire to get behind its fundraising efforts so more children, in particular, can be reached quickly.
