Just days after the Warrior girls’ soccer team forfeited 10 games due to an ineligible player, the boys’ team suffered a similar fate. Brainerd must forfeit six games for using a foreign exchange player that the MSHSL ruled is from a program not sanctioned to compete. Brainerd self-reported the problem to the state.

30 years ago (1995)

(Photo) Grant Haglin of rural Brainerd became the youngest dog handler in the United States to win a licensed field trial. Haglin, 16, won the event with Cadillac Jack and placed fourth with Pine Shadows Kodiak. Both dogs are English springer spaniels.
