Walker faces a tall task this week, traveling to face undefeated Region 5A leader Landmark Christian on Friday.

The Wolverines dropped a fourth straight contest last week, falling to Mount Paran 42-12 at home despite taking an early lead.

“There were some positives, some key takeaways,” Walker coach TJ Anderson said. “The never-quit attitude that the kids have instilled amongst themselves. We had our opportunities and chances to capitalize, we were able to get some stops on defense, and we actually scored first there to take a 6-0 lead. The key takeaway is, our guys never quit, they kept playing hard throughout the entirety of the game.”
