BOARDMAN A construction site on Thalia Avenue in Boardman was the target of a high-value theft and breaking and entering, with a total of $83,900 in tools reported stolen overnight.

Police received the report at 12:34 p.m. on Thursday, after workers returned to the house they were working on to find missing equipment.

The stolen equipment includes two stand-up mixers, valued at $20,000 each, which were taken from a trailer parked at the front of the property.

The thieves broke the lock on the side of the trailer and bent the handles to get inside. Additionally, twenty-five other tools, valued at $63,900, were removed from the home.

Complainants noted that the side of the home was not secured and had a hole large enough for someone to remove the equipment.
