If you've been doing fall cleaning and have some old documents piling up, Collegedale is hosting a free shredding event next week.

The event will be on Tuesday, October 14 from 3:00-6:00pm in the front parking lot of Collegedale City Hall.

Anyone can bring up to five boxes or bags of documents per person or vehicle.

You can even watch as the papers are shredded onsite.

City officials say it’s a way to clean out the clutter and protect your privacy.
