Meghan Markle embraced the royal power suiting trend in a look by the late Giorgio Armani for Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Festival in New York City on Thursday alongside her husband Prince Harry .

For the special occasion, at which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were honored with the Humanitarians of the Year award, Markle wore the mulberry silk jacket and coordinated palazzo trousers in black by the Italian brand.

The jacket featured a streamlined silhouette, with long sleeves and a single button at the natural waistline for added definition. The palazzo trousers were tailored with a semi-wide-leg design for ease of movement. She continued the monochrome, subdued elegance color scheme in black with her pointed-toe black pumps by Armani as well.
