Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth held a bilateral meeting with the United Kingdom’s Minister of State for Defence Vernon Coaker, in Mumbai today. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the UK Carrier Strike Group’s (CSG) visit to India. During the discussion, both sides reviewed the ongoing defence engagements and explored ways to deepen India-UK cooperation. This includes maritime collaboration, indigenous defence manufacturing, opportunities in global defence supply chains and strengthening maritime cooperation in the Indo-Pacific and Indian Ocean region to ensure a free, open, and rules-based order.
