OGDENSBURG, N.Y. (WWTI) - A 48-year-old Ogdensburg man is facing charges after an investigation into a stolen handgun.
According to the Ogdensburg Police Department, they received a complaint that a Ruger .380 ACP handgun was stolen out of a motor vehicle, which was parked at the Ogdensburg Bowling Alley on Saturday, October 4.
After following many leads, the police department executed a search warrant just before 1:30 p.m. Thursday at a residence in Belmont Courts.
At the conclusion of the search warrant, the allegedly stolen handgun was located inside the residence of Louis Richard Laflair.
He was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substanc
