An Atlantic City man who admitted having cocaine in his home two years ago was sentenced to ten years in prison Tuesday, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.

Knocumus Dixon, 35, pleaded guilty in May to possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and obstruction. He must serve 85% of his sentence before becoming parole eligible.

Officers saw Dixon leave a building on Iowa Avenue and engage in drug transactions with multiple people before getting into the passenger's side of a vehicle and leaving the area Sept. 21, 2023, the Prosecutor's Office said Friday in a news release. Police stopped the vehicle and found an oxycodone pill in the center console.
