MARSHALL, Texas — A child accused of making threats toward a Marshall ISD campus was arrested on Thursday.

According to the Marshall Police Department, officers on Thursday worked with the Marshall ISD Police Department and the Harrison County District Attorney’s Office to ensure a thorough and timely response. This led to the identification and arrest of the child.

"The safety of our students, faculty, and community remains our top priority. The Marshall Police Department and our law enforcement partners take all reports of potential threats seriously and will continue to respond swiftly to ensure the safety and security of our schools," police said.
