FARGO – Jack Iuliano has heard every nickname under the sun since arriving in Fargo.
Grandpa. Uncle. Old man.
He just rolls with the punches.
“I think if I was more sensitive, maybe it would get to my head,” Iuliano said. “But they're not wrong, so I can't really blame them. It's not the worst thing in the world.”
The nicknames fit a guy who is in his seventh year of college. The 6-foot-3, 257-pound defensive end began his collegiate career in 2019, when some of his current teammates were in the seventh grade.
The Rye, N.Y. native signed with Penn out of the Ivy League out of high school in 2019, redshirting that season. He was eager to get his first taste of college football that spring, but the COVID pandemic shut down college football.
