Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday effected a major reshuffle in the IAS cadre, transferring several senior officers and giving them new postings.

As per a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, the changes will take effect from October 13, 2025. ADVERTISEMENT

Girish S N, who is now Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the government, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department, will take over as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Department of Mission Shakti, after Shalini Pandit, leaves the state on central deputation.

N Thirumala Naik, Vice-Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority, will join the School & Mass Education Department as Commissioner-cum-Secretary after Shalini Pandit’s departure for central posting.
