The Canada Post Workers’ union has announced that they will be switching to a rotating striking schedule, as opposed to the full walkout that has been going since late September.
The rotating strikes will commence on Saturday at 6 a.m..
The strike came as a response to some proposed changes to Canada Post, designed to make the service more profitable. This would include ending door-to-door delivery, slowing the frequency of mail delivery and closing some post offices. Implementing these changes would also cost some postal workers their jobs.
