New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday chaired a high-level meeting to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, reaffirming the government’s firm commitment to making the region completely free of terrorism.

The Delhi-based meeting was attended by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Union Home Secretary, Chief of Army Staff, Director of the Intelligence Bureau, Chief Secretary, DGP of Jammu and Kashmir, and heads of Central Armed Police Forces.
