ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A planned military flyover at Saturday’s University of Missouri football game has been canceled due to the government shutdown.
In a social media post on Friday, Mizzou Athletics said the flyover and ROTC Cannon Crew will not be at Faurot Field when they take on Alabama. They also announced that the Missouri State Highway Patrol would serve as the pregame color guard.
The 14th-ranked Tigers will face off against eighth-ranked Alabama on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m.
Before the game, turn to First Alert 4 and Matrix Midwest for the Mizzou Live pregame show.
