Saimon Oliveira has missed weight for his UFC Rio bout by a remarkable 8lbs (3.6kg).

The 33-year-old fighting out of Santa Catarina, Brazil, is set to kick off UFC Rio on Saturday night in a bantamweight bout against fellow countryman Luan Lacerda.

Although some fans originally believed the fight would be scrapped due to the weight miss, it is expected to go ahead at catchweight.
