The Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce celebrated individuals and businesses who help shape the city’s spirit of service and growth during its 2025 Annual Community Awards ceremony, held Friday at the DeWees Community and Senior Center.

The evening honored residents and entrepreneurs who exemplify leadership, generosity, and dedication to the Lompoc Valley.

Ashley Costa, executive director of the Lompoc Valley Community Healthcare Organization (LVCHO), was named Woman of the Year for her work expanding access to healthcare, nutrition, and wellness programs across the region.

Alexander Murkison, vice president of C4, received the Man of the Year award for his commitment to youth empowerment and community-building through mentorship and local partnerships.
