RODNEY — Residents gathered at the Rodney Recreation Centre on Oct. 8 for a town hall hosted by the West Elgin Community Health Centre (WECHC) and the Municipality of West Elgin to discuss local priorities such as transportation, seniors’ needs, food security, youth and safety.
Participants shared ideas in small group discussions before presenting their findings to the larger audience. Organizers said feedback from the event will help shape future community plans.

A follow-up session will take place at the Dutton Community Centre on Oct. 16 at 6 p.m.
Among those attending were representatives from MPP Rob Flack’s office, the Elgin Health Team, West Elgin council and staff, and WECHC leadership.
