With an overall attendance of 70 per cent and amid strict security, a private school in Maninagar resumed offline classes in full on Friday, more than a month and half after the school was closed following a stabbing incident that led to a student’s death.

Classes I to V resumed with an attendance of 60 per cent, the school authorities said on Friday.

After teaching-related work started in Classes X and XII last week, teaching work started in Classes IX and XII as well as classes 6 and 8 respectively from Monday to Wednesday. Teaching finally started in Classes I to V on Friday with an overall 70 per cent students out of a total of 10,267 enrollment from Classes I to XII.
