BOISE, Idaho — Boise State fifth-year cornerback A'Marion McCoy is a hard-hitting, loud personality on the field. Through five games, he's recorded six tackles and one interception.
But when he's not piledriving his opponents, it's a different story.
A few weeks ago, McCoy was at a downtown Boise Albertsons waiting in line to pay for his groceries. In front of him was Tammy Keagy. When it came time to pay, Keagy's card wasn't going through. As she was weighing her options, McCoy walked up and swiped his own card.
Keagy and her husband, Jose, said it meant the world to them
"That was selfless; it was one of the nicest things someone had done for my family in a long time," she said.
Keagy told KTVB she wants to send him a box of treats once he gets to the NFL.
