LANSING, Mich. (WNEM) - Michigan State Police are reacting to the flow of funds that will soon come their way after the governor signed the budget.
The director of the state police said, despite initial fears about deep cuts, lawmakers on both sides of the aisle spoke up to ensure public safety was a top priority.
“I think that it demonstrates the governor’s strong commitment to public safety, and her continued investments in the Michigan State Police,” Michigan State Police Director Colonel James Grady II said.
