TT Jagannathan, Chairman Emeritus of TTK Prestige and the man credited with transforming the pressure cooker, an integral part of modern Indian kitchens, passed away on Thursday night. He was 77. He is survived by his wife, Latha and their two sons — TT Mukund, and TT Lakshman.

In a statement to the exchanges, the company said, “His sudden and unexpected passing away will be an irreparable loss to the Company, and all the Directors and employees of the Company convey deep sorrow and condolences to his family.”
