Hizzoner praised Ray — whom he had appointed as the city’s first sports czar, a $160,000-a-year gig — for her self-published “Political Humanity,” which provides readers a peek into the corridors of City Hall.

“Jas has always led with integrity,” he wrote in a post on X Thursday . “Writing this book wasn’t easy, but she wanted people to understand the work, the mission, and the human side behind the headlines.

“I respect her for that and I enjoyed reading it. I hope all will read the book.” 4
