Tulsa police arrested a man early Friday after responding to two burglaries at a downtown convenience store.

Officers were first called around midnight to the DGX store near Sixth Street and Boston Avenue, where they found the door forced open but no one inside.

Less than an hour later, police received another call from the same store. This time, officers spotted Carl Kyker running from the scene and arrested him nearby on Fifth Street.

Police believe Kyker attempted to break into the store twice. Investigators also found beer and a half-eaten can of soup next to the store, which they believe was taken during the break-ins.
