Former Toronto Blue Jays manager John Gibbons isn’t hiding who he’s supporting in this year’s MLB playoffs.

Gibbons was on an episode of Sportsnet’s Jays Talk Plus with Blake Murphy and Julia Kreuz to chat about his experience in Toronto and his thoughts on the current Blue Jays.

“There’s something different about up there, naturally… You got one team in the whole country,” Gibbons told the hosts.

Gibbons spent parts of 11 seasons managing the Blue Jays, going about as close to an even record as you can get. Over the course of his time in Toronto, he ended up with 793 and 789 losses, averaging out to a .501 record.
