CHENNAI: Southern Railway would operate Deepavali special trains in Tamil Nadu to clear extra rush of passengers.

Train No 06156 Tirunelveli – Chengalpattu Bi-Weekly superfast special will leave Tirunelveli at 04.00 am on October 21 and 22 (Tuesday & Wednesday) and reach Chengalpattu at 1.15 pm, the same day (two services). In return direction, Train No 06155 Chengalpattu – Tirunelveli Bi-Weekly superfast special will leave Chengalpattu at 3.00 pm on October 21 and 22 (Tuesday & Wednesday) and reach Tirunelveli at 11.55 pm, the same day (two services). The trains will have stoppages at Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchchirapalli and Villupuram.
