The postseason has arrived for girls tennis.

The NCHSAA released playoff brackets for the dual-team state championships Friday, with reigning champion Terry Sanford earning the No. 2 seed with a first-round bye in the 6A bracket as a high mark for local programs.

The Bulldogs swept through last season's 3A classification with dual-team, singles and doubles state championships to give the program an incredible 17 NCHSAA state titles .
