BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green community is welcoming a new Moe’s location.

At least 50 people lined up outside of the restaurant on Friday, ready for the doors to open.

The first person in line, local Southcentral Kentucky Community & Technical College student Mattie Johnson, told News 40 she slept overnight in her car for the event.

The reason?

The first 50 people in line today got free burritos for a year from the new location.

We spoke to No. 50 as well, who said he had arrived just in time to be one of the lucky prize winners.

If you didn’t make it as the first 50 in line, don’t worry – Moe’s Southwest Grill is officially open for all at 1056 Lovers Lane, Suite 300.
