According to the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) , a whopping $2.36 trillion was added to the American economy from tourism in 2023. Flash forward to today, and Tourism Economics has predicted a 9.4% decline in international tourism from 2024 to 2025, a complete transformation from its initial prediction of an increase of 9%.
