SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) -- An Upstate man won $200,000 from a scratch-off ticket purchased in Simpsonville.
The winner said he returned to work after cashing in his prize, expressing that his only wish was to have won enough to retire.
The winning ticket was a $5 scratch-off from the Neon Jackpot game, which still has three top prizes of $200,000 remaining, with odds of 1 in 930,000.
Mit Food Mart, where the ticket was purchased, received a $2,000 commission for selling the winning ticket.
"It was wonderful," he told South Carolina Education Lottery officials, describing how it felt to win.
